The Patient Learning Center exists because patients and caregivers are asked to navigate one of the most complicated systems in American life — often without a guide, a roadmap, or anyone in their corner.
Built by people who have worked inside legislative, regulatory, and policy-making systems, our programs give patients the knowledge and confidence to engage healthcare on equal footing — whether that means understanding a denial letter or testifying before Congress.

Our mission is to close the healthcare education gap — giving patients and caregivers the knowledge, tools, and community they need to navigate their care and advocate effectively for better outcomes.
We operate independently with our own board and programs, and we maintain full financial transparency. We are connected to Patients Rising by our shared belief that an informed patient is a powerful one.
